MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM

( 5th – 8th Grade)

“The middle school program is the bridge between elementary school and high school, part of our mission at this stage is to serve as catalysts to help our students reach their full potential in Christ.”

Intermediate education comprises the 5th to 8th grade sections. These programs are developed during the regular academic day from 7:30 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.

The middle school program is designed to meet the unique needs of preteen and adolescent students, who during this stage of development face multiple changes. During these years when students leave elementary school behind and prepare for the rigor of high school, it is our mission to provide close accompaniment and equip them spiritually, academically, emotionally, and physically to successfully face the challenges of their age and life. future.

The academic program for this level includes the basic subjects of the program in English, as well as the subjects required by MINERD which are taught in Spanish, said program continues to be age appropriate and integrates all the distinctive features of the academic program in general.

In addition to academic instruction, students participate weekly in supplemental programs such as: physical education, art, music, computer, and PEI.

Weekly chapel programs bring the student body together for times of corporate praise and worship and exposition of God’s Word. Students also participate in activities designed to develop Christian character, promote team building, and serve in school and community projects throughout the year. School life in middle school is enriched with field trips, participation in student government, inter-college and inter-school academic activities. Additionally, extracurricular activities are available such as: choral ensemble, sports practices, STEM clubs, robotics, among others.
