  • The student must be the child of Christian-evangelical Parents, at least one of them, and faithfully attend to an evangelical church.
  • Family subscribes to and supports King Christian School’s statement of faith

Within the online application your Pastor or Church e-mail will be required. Your Pastor will receive the Pastoral Reference Form.

 Documentation Requirements:

  1. Copy of the Report card for the school years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 to date (scan and attach to the Application Form)
  2. Copies of the parents’ personal identity cards (scan and attach to the Application Form)
  3. The following documents must be sent directly by the student’s school of origin to the following email: admisiones@kcs.edu.do.

“Teacher Recommendation Form” filled out by the student’s previous teacher. Applies to 1rst grade-12th (Students from 1st grade of Primary to 6th of Secondary)

Letter of Conduct (Issued by the person responsible for the area)

Letter of Payment responsibility issued by previous the school administration

The Admission Test

  •  Includes academic and psychological evaluations.
  •  Applies to all grades and can be paid on the day of the exam.
  •  Fee RD$2,500 Dominican Pesos (or its equivalent in US dollars).

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EROLLMENT PROCESS

SCHOOL YEAR 2023 – 2024

 

The Enrollment Process ends with the delivery of the required documents and the payment of the enrollment fee.

 

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Birth certificate.
  2. 2 photos 2X2.
  3. Medical certificate.
  4. Ophthalmological certificate.
  5. Audiometry and Otoscopy certificate (1rst grade students only).
  6. Immunization record for students, including reinforcement of the vaccines.
  7. Original Report Card, stamped by the student’s school of origin, where promotion to the next grade is confirmed.
  8. Transcripts validated by MINERD (From 4th grade).
  9. Any other documentation required by the school for particular cases.

 

CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED BY THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC (MINERD) FOR SPECIFIC CASES:

 

7th grade students

  • Certificate of Completion of Primary Level of 6th grade, signed and stamped by the Educational Institution and by the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic (MINERD).

 

8th to 12th students

  • Certificate of Completion of Primary Level, signed and stamped by the Educational Institution and by the Ministry of Education (MINERD).
  • Copy of High School Transcripts to date.
  • High School report cards/transcripts validated by the corresponding School District.
  • Certification of completed community service if it applies.

 

International students

  • Documents proving the completion and approval of courses taken abroad, signed and stamped by the Educational Institution of origin. These must be legalized by the Ministry of Education of the country where the studies were completed and apostilled (La Haye Convention) in the country of origin.
    • For primary school students: all grades completed in primary school.
    • For Secondary students: Certification of Completion of Primary Level and the transcripts of all secondary grades completed to date.
  • Apostilled birth certificate (La Haye Convention) from the country of origin.

KCS reserves the right to accept or reject a student’s application for Admission.
