DOCTRINAL STATEMENT Our doctrinal position based on the infallible Word of God is: The Bible We believe that the Bible is the Word inspired by God, that it is infallible and inerrant and that it is centered on the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ (2Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1: 19-21; Mt. 5:18; Lk. 24:27, 44). One God: Father, Son, and Spirit We believe that there is only one living and true God, creator of all things, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 45:5-7; John 4:24). God the Father We believe that God the Father, the first person of the Trinity, orders and arranges all things according to His purpose and grace (Ps. 145:8-9; 103:19; 1 Cor. 8:6). Jesus Christ\u2019s Divinity We believe that Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, possesses all the divine attributes, and in these he is equal to God, and coeternal with the Father (1Co. 8: 6; John 10:30; John 14: 9). The Incarnation of Christ We believe that Jesus Christ represents humanity and deity in an indivisible unity, that He was born of a virgin, that He is God incarnate, and that the purpose of His incarnation was to reveal God, redeem men, and rule over the kingdom of God (Is 7:14; Mt 1: 23,25; Ps 2: 7,9; Is 9: 6; John 1:29; Phil 2: 9-11). Salvation by Grace through Faith We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior, that He frees all who come to Him from sin, that salvation is a gift of God\u2019s grace, purchased with the blood of Christ and freely given to all who put their faith in His work. consummated at Calvary (Micah 5: 2; Colossians 2: 9; John 1:12; Romans 8:15; Galatians 4: 5; Ephesians 1: 7; Ephesians 2.8-10). Redemption through Christ\u2019s Death We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through the shedding of His blood and His sacrificial death on the cross (John 10:15; Rom. 3: 24-25; 5: 8; 1 Pet 2:24 ). We believe that the Bible is the Word inspired by God, that it is infallible and inerrant and that it is centered on the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ (2Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1: 19-21; Mt. 5:18; Lk. 24:27, 44).
