DOCTRINAL STATEMENT

Our doctrinal position based on the infallible Word of God is:

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the Word inspired by God, that it is infallible and inerrant and that it is centered on the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ (2Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1: 19-21; Mt. 5:18; Lk. 24:27, 44).

We believe that there is only one living and true God, creator of all things, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 45:5-7; John 4:24).

We believe that God the Father, the first person of the Trinity, orders and arranges all things according to His purpose and grace (Ps. 145:8-9; 103:19; 1 Cor. 8:6).

We believe that Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, possesses all the divine attributes, and in these he is equal to God, and coeternal with the Father (1Co. 8: 6; John 10:30; John 14: 9).

We believe that Jesus Christ represents humanity and deity in an indivisible unity, that He was born of a virgin, that He is God incarnate, and that the purpose of His incarnation was to reveal God, redeem men, and rule over the kingdom of God (Is 7:14; Mt 1: 23,25; Ps 2: 7,9; Is 9: 6; John 1:29; Phil 2: 9-11).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior, that He frees all who come to Him from sin, that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, purchased with the blood of Christ and freely given to all who put their faith in His work. consummated at Calvary (Micah 5: 2; Colossians 2: 9; John 1:12; Romans 8:15; Galatians 4: 5; Ephesians 1: 7; Ephesians 2.8-10).

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through the shedding of His blood and His sacrificial death on the cross (John 10:15; Rom. 3: 24-25; 5: 8; 1 Pet 2:24 ).

We believe that the Holy Spirit is divine and eternal, possessing intellect, emotions, and will, equal to the Father and the Son in all divine attributes (1 Cor. 2:10-13; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Cor. 13:14).

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, of which He is the head, composed of all born-again believers (Eph. 1:22-23; Col. 1:18).

We believe that all believers are called to serve our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Cor. 15:58; Ephesians 4:12).

We believe that regeneration is a supernatural work of the Holy Spirit by which divine nature and life are given. It is instantaneous and carried out solely by the power of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God (Jn. 3: 3-7; Titus 3: 5; Jn. 5:24).

We believe that justification before God is an act by which He declares righteous those who through faith in Christ repent of their sins and confess Him as their sovereign Savior and Lord (Rom. 8:33; Luke 13: 3 ; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 11:18; Rom. 2: 4; 2Co. 7:10; Rom. 10: 9-10; 1 Cor. 12: 3; 2 Cor. 4: 5).

We believe that every believer is sanctified (set apart) for God and declared holy through justification. This sanctification is positional and instantaneous and has to do with the believer’s position, not with his current practical life or condition (Acts 20:32; 1 Cor. 1: 2, 30; 6:11; 2 Thess. 2:13 ; Heb 2:11; 3: 1; 10:10, 14; 13:12; 1 Pet. 1: 2)

We also believe in progressive sanctification whereby the believer’s state is brought to a point closer to the position he enjoys through justification. Through obedience to the Word of God and the capacity given by the Holy Spirit, the believer is able to live a life of greater holiness in accordance with the will of God, becoming more and more like our Lord Jesus Christ (Jn. 17 : 17,19; Rom. 6: 1–22; 2 Cor. 3:18; 1 Thess. 4: 3–4).

core values

The core values are beliefs and essential principles that King’s Christian School has declared as guidance for the fulfillment of its mission, the exercise of leadership and decision-making in the institution.

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

The basis of a Christian school education is the Bible, the Word of God, which we recognize that it is inspired, infallible and perfect, (2 Timothy 3: 15-17). This is why The Bible is the foundation of the authority, authenticity and integrity of the Christian education. For the Bible is the foundation of the curriculum, the basis of all science, knowledge and thought (John 17: 17).

We believe that the aim of a Christian school education is to guide the student to know God and His Truth, through the teaching of the Bible as the inspired Word of God, waiting for him to respond and live in harmony with Truth and be an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and in purity (1 Timothy 4:12).

We believe that this education is committed to excellence and to the development of the maximum potential of the students, that is why their educational work is aligned with the Truth of God. The Christian school curriculum is the sequence of learning experiences that provide an education that is academically excellent and that fosters the growth of students for their spiritual formation.

Integrated instruction with the Word of God involves teaching different areas of knowledge in such a way that students develop critical thinking, educational skills, and a biblical worldview that leads them to think and act biblically. All this, in the framework of an environment of maturity and self-discipline that favors the teaching-learning process. Textbooks are considered a component of the curriculum and not those that determine the educational process.

It is our conviction that Christian School Education is carried out with the full participation of teachers, parents, and students, all of whom are subject to the authority and Sovereignty of God and His Word.

Christian School Education must be taught by Christian teachers whose minds are continually being renewed by the Word of God (Rom. 12: 1-2), since they will convey to their students the truth and conviction of life not only with their words, but also by example; therefore, they must understand, practice, and communicate biblically established life principles and faithfully transmit God’s Truth in purity, love, and wisdom. These Christian teachers must be competent professionals who promote an environment that facilitates the teaching-learning process in a framework of redemptive leadership and discipline.

Parents who choose a Christian school education for their children recognize that God has given them the responsibility to instruct their children in His Word, continually meditating on it, receiving His direction, and putting it into action (Deuteronomy 6: 6-9); therefore, they value the support that Christian school education gives them in the responsibility and great challenge that God has given them, and they assume a significant commitment to be directly involved in the educational process of their children.

It is our hope that the student recognizes that he is a sinner and that he needs Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of his life (Romans 3: 23-25). That you recognize the Bible as the Word of God and develop a biblical worldview that allows you to impact your society for Christ.

The teaching-learning process is completed when the student responsibly assumes the teachings with an attitude of respect and recognition of God and His Word, shows submission to the authorities, establishes warm and genuine interpersonal relationships, and shows attachment and fulfillment to the established rules.

Expected Student Learning Achievements
